Blog How-To

We would first like to welcome you to the official home of Westwood Collegiate's 2012 Eurotour! We strongly encourage that you follow us along on our journey by keeping up-to-date with this blog. If you have no experience with blogs, have no fear! This post will give you a bit of a tour, and let you know exactly how you can get the most out of this blog.

Here are some ways that you can follow the blog:
     1) Simply check back regularly to wwceurotour2012.blogspot.ca
     2) Use "Follow By Email" feature on the left by simply entering your email address

Once you're ready to follow us, there are some things you will want to watch for when exploring the blog. First, note the tabs at the top of the page; "HOME", "PHOTOS", and "VIDEOS". On the "HOME" page, you will find all of our daily blog entries. These entries will let you know where we've been, what we've done, and include some photos and video footage. Whenever you come back to visit wwceurotour2012.blogspot.ca, the most recent entry will appear at the TOP, while previous days events will appear below it. At any point, you can go back and see what we did on a previous day. The easiest way to do this is to use the "BLOG ARCHIVE" which appears to the left. Here, all of the blog entries will be organized by date, so you can simply navigate to the date of the blog entry you wish to view.

To share an entry with a friend, you will see that there are a number of social media sharing options directly below each entry beside the date of time it was posted. Options include Email, Blogger, Twitter, and Facebook. Simply click on your preferred sharing method, and instantly connect your friends to our blog as well.

Click on the "PHOTOS" or "VIDEOS" tab at the top of the page to view more pictures that you may not see appear in the blog entry, or to watch video footage from the trip.

To the left, you will see some other fun features that will show you how we're doing. The WEATHER gadget appears at the top left so that you can see how we're fairing. There is currently a countdown to our departure included on the left, and this will change to countdown the time until we arrive home. You will also see a digital clock on the left. This clock will show the current time where we are (Central European Time Zone). There is even a fun widget at the bottom that shows where all of our views are watching from! We will surely make many new friends on our journey, so we hope to see viewers from all around the world!

Thank you for visiting us, and check back for updates beginning on July 8th! Enjoy following us from wherever you are, and know that we will be thinking of you too.
